RainSaver Help

INTRODUCTION

RainSaver is a screen saver that simulates rainfall on your screen. Be sure to play with all the settings to see what can happen!

Make RainSaver your Screen Saver from the Display Control Panel.

 

 

SETTINGS

 

 

 

Speed                    Determines how fast the waves are drawn. Drag the slider to change the value.

 

 

Growth                  Determines how fast the waves grow. Drag the slider to change the value.

 

 

Death                    Determines how soon the waves disappear. Drag the slider to change the value.

 

 

Intensity                Determines how many raindrops are drawn at one time. Drag the slider to change the value.

 

 

Wave Width           Determines how fast thick the waves are. Drag the slider to change the value.

 

 

OK                         Save the settings and exit the settings window.

 

 

Colors                    Open the Color Picker window to change the colors used when drawing raindrops. See ‘Colors’ below.

 

 

Reset                     Reset all settings to the last saved values.

 

 

Help F1                  Display the online help. Click this button or hit the F1 key.

 

 

About                    Click this button to open a window with information about RainSaver, including a link to our web site.

 

 

COLORS

 

 

 

Background            Click this button to activate the Background color. Then, use the Red/Green/Blue sliders to change the color.

 

 

Wave Color            Click this button to activate the Wave color. Then, use the Red/Green/Blue sliders to change the color.

 

 

Erase Color            Click this button to activate the Erase color. Then, use the Red/Green/Blue sliders to change the color.

 

 

Sample Wave         This small area displays a sample of the current colors, and updates each time you change a color.

 

 

Copy                     Click this button to copy the active color (Background, Wave, or Erase).

 

 

Paste                     Click this button to paste the copied color into the active color (Background, Wave, or Erase).

 

 

Red/Green/Blue     Drag the sliders to set the active color.

 

 

OK                         Click this button to save your changes.

 

 

Reset                     Click this button to reset the colors to the last saved values.

 

 

Cancel                   Click this button to close the Color Picker window without making any changes.
